Justine Silva (Baldwin Park, CA/Arroyo) made 27 saves and four different Bengals scored as Buffalo State completed the weekend sweep at SUNY Canton today with a 4-0 victory in a non-conference game.

HOW IT HAPPENED- Silva's second shutout of the season included a 13-save second period.
- Brooke Krantz (Penticton, BC/Penticton) finally opened the scoring midway through the second period with her second goal of the season.
- Buffalo State put the game out of reach with three goals in the final frame, including Erin Gehen's (West Seneca, NY/W. Seneca West) team-leading 12th of the year.
- Rachel Lenard (Orchard Park, NY/Nardin) pushed the lead to 3-0 and then freshman Madeline Kromer (Angola, NY/Lake Shore) netted her first collegiate goal to complete the scoring.
- Emma Ruggiero (Amherst, NY/Sacred Heart) had a pair of assists for Buffalo State.
- The Bengals posted a narrow 28-27 advantage in shots, and neither team could capitalize on the power play. Buffalo State was 0 for 6, and the Roos were 0 for 5.
FOR THE FOES- Illie Berisha finished with 24 stops for Canton.
NOTEWORTHY- Buffalo State has recorded double-digit victories for the season for the second-consecutive year and just the third time in school history. The other was 2000-01 when it set a school record with 11 wins.
