BUFFALO, N.Y.—  Senior 
Britt Perry (Buffalo/Hutch Tech) scored a career-best 29 points, but Buffalo State could not hold onto its first half lead and fell to Plattsburgh, 76-71, in a conference matchup on Friday night.

HOW IT HAPPENED-  Plattsburgh got on the scoreboard first and went up 3-0 at 7:29.
- A 3-pointer from Perry at 6:05, tied the game up and a layup from Perry a minute later gave the Bengals their first lead.
- The game remained close through the rest of the quarter. The Cardinals regained the lead at 1:45 and went up by five, 19-14, but a quick fast break jumper from Caleh McLean (New Rochelle/New Rochelle) pulled the Bengals to within three heading into the next period.
- Another 3-pointer from Perry, this time at 7:11 in the second quarter, once again tied the game up. The senior followed it up with a layup to give Buffalo State back the lead.
- An 8-0 run from the Bengals over three minutes, put Buffalo State ahead 42-34 with 44 seconds left in the half.
- The Bengals took a six point, 42-36 lead into halftime.
- Buffalo State pushed its lead out to seven on two different occasions early in the third quarter, but a 10-2 run from the Cardinals gave them a lead they would remain in control of for the rest of the game.
- A pair of free throws from Plattsburgh pushed the Cardinals lead out to eight in the closing minute of the third quarter.
- With 4:12 remaining in the game, Plattsburgh saw its largest lead, 71-56.
- Buffalo State managed to come within five points, 76-71, in the last 17 seconds, but ran out of time for a comeback.
- The Bengals finished the night shooting 38.2 percent from the floor, 50 percent from long range and 70 percent from the free throw line.
- Perry led Buffalo State's offense, while Keyonte Edwards (Buffalo/O'Hara) added a double-double, tying her career-best with 18 points and 16 rebounds. McLean chipped in 11 points.
FOR THE FOES- Stephanie Linder led the way for the Plattsburgh offense with 21 points. Allie Taylor added 14 points, while Monique Jones chipped in 12 points and had a team-high eight assists.
- The Cardinals finished the night shooting 42.2 percent from the floor, 20 percent from long range and 76.9 percent from the free throw line.
