- Oneonta outshot the Bengals 7-2 in the first half and scored in the 23rd and 39th minutes to take a 2-0 lead by the intermission.
- The Red Dragons added an insurance marker just 1:20 into the second half to push the advantage to three.
- August Finn (High Falls/Rondout Valley) put Buffalo State on the board, netting his fifth of the season in the 61st minute on a header from Robert Williamson (Fishkill/John Jay), but the Bengals could not close the gap any further.
- Oneonta finished with a 13-9 edge in shots.
- William Banahene (Rochester/Brighton) made three saves in goal for the Bengals.
