BUFFALO, N.Y. — Buffalo State led the entire game and
Princella McCullough (Rochester/Bishop Kearney) recorded her third double-double of the season as the Bengals knocked off Potsdam, 70-63 in a SUNYAC contest in the Buffalo State College Sports Arena this evening.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Taylor Graham (Santa Rosa, CA/Maria Carrillo), Shayasha Spencer (Geneva/Geneva) and McCullough all finished with double-digit points for the Bengals. Graham scored 11 points and chipped in five rebounds and three assists. Spencer finished with 11 points while McCullough added 10 and 13 rebounds.
- Grace Licata (Williamsville/Williamsville South) scored six points and recorded seven boards.
- Jasmine Scott (Buffalo/Bennett) provided a spark off the bench and finished with six points and four rebounds in seven minutes of play.
- Nine different Bengals finished the game with at least five points.
- Buffalo State raced out to a 12-2 lead, eventually pushing it to 14-7 after the first quarter.
- Despite strong shooting from Potsdam in the second, Buffalo State held strong and took a 29-20 lead into halftime.
- Potsdam closed the gap in the third quarter, but the Bengals still held on to a 50-45 lead entering the fourth.
- The Bears got as close as three, cutting the lead to 66-63 with a little over a minute left to play in the game. Buffalo State was strong at the line in the final quarter, picking up 11 points from the charity stripe, including four-straight at the end of the game to give the Bengals a 70-63 win.
FOR THE FOES
- Meghan Driscoll led the Bears with 26 points and seven steals.
- Patti Dorgler chipped in 12 points and eight rebounds.
NOTEWORTHY
- Buffalo State is now 40-8 all-time against Potsdam and has won 13-straight games over the Bears, dating back to Feb. 5, 2010.
