Mike DeLaVergne (Pawling, NY/Pawling) made 26 saves for his second shutout of the season as Buffalo State rolled past visiting Morrisville State, 4-0, in a SUNYAC contest tonight at the Ice Arena.

HOW IT HAPPENED- Zach Nieminen (Ajax, ON/Notre Dame CSS), Cory Gurski (Hilton, NY/Hilton), Jake Rosen (Williamsville, NY/Williamsville North), Anthony Beaumont (Lester, PA/Interboro) all scored for Buffalo State.
- Ryan Salkeld (Virginia Beach, VA/Churchland) picked up a pair of assists.
- Nieminen opened the scoring midway through the first period when he stole the puck from the Morrisville defenseman and calmly converted the breakaway.
- Gurski extended the lead before the first intermission wrapping around the back of the cage and tucking the puck inside the right post.
- Rosen scored the lone goal of the second period on the power play to push the lead to 3-0.
- Morrisville pulled its goalie in favor of and extra-attacker with more than four minutes remaining before Beaumont completed the scoring into the empty net for his 10th goal of the season.
- The Bengals finished 1 for 4 on the power play and their SUNYAC-best penalty kill was successful at defending all three shorthanded opportunities.
- Buffalo State outshot Morrisville, 34-26, including 12-5 in the first period.
FOR THE FOES- Steven Dombrosky allowed three goals and made 30 saves for the Mustangs.
