HOW IT HAPPENED
- RIT scored on its only shot of the first half just 30 seconds into the game.
- Buffalo State controlled play for much of the afternoon, outshooting the Tigers 18-5, including 11-4 in the second half, but could not break through.
- Sammy Wasson (Clarence/Clarence) led Buffalo State with five shots.
- William Banahene (Rochester/Brighton) made two saves in goal.
- Buffalo State also owned a 13-2 advantage in corner kicks, but could not assemble and effective set piece.
FOR THE FOES
- Peter Cinibulk finished with five saves for the shutout for RIT.
- Adam Bem scored the Tigers goal on a one-timer with assists from Gene Sicoli and Anthony DeFeo.
