ROCHESTER, N.Y.—Buffalo State dropped a straight-set decision tonight at the University of Rochester in its final non-conference tune-up match before conference play begins this weekend.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- After dropping the opening set 25-10, the Bengals led for much of the second set, pushing the lead to 24-21, but could not hold on, falling 26-24. The Yellowjackets closed out the match in the third set, 25-17.
- Rochester posted a .253 attack percentage, compared to just .023 by the Bengals.
- The Yellowjackets also held a 44-29 advantage in digs.
- Riley Chapman (Orchard Park/Orchard Park) led Buffalo State with five kills and four aces.
- Katherine Marte (Ithaca/Ithaca) had 18 assists, and six digs.

- Clara Martinez pace Rochester with 11 kills, while Aimee Kohler had 34 assists.
