BUFFALO, N.Y.—
Ali Shawish (Lackawanna/Lackawanna) scored in the 57
th minute to lift Buffalo State to a 1-0 victory over visiting Keuka College in the final game of the Fred Hartrick Classic on Coyer Field to complete the tournament sweep and finish up a second place finish overall.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Buffalo State controlled the possession for much of the first half, but was unable to find the back of the net on the 11-1 shots advantage.
- The Bengals and the Wolves traded shot attempts early in the second half but were unable to break through.
- Buffalo state regained composure following a yellow card and finally broke the stalemate when Shawish found the back of the net off the cross from August Finn (High Falls/Rondout Valley).
- Goalkeeper Andreas Queen (Stone Ridge/Rondout Valley) picked up the shutout win in net for the Bengals.

- Christopher Spaulding recorded three saves in net for the Wolves.
THE OPENING GAME
- Fredonia defeated D'Youville in the opening game of the second day of the Classic by a 5-1 count. Fredonia's Matt Casey, Ryan Ross, Dave Trabold and Aaron Hayes each scored in the first half.
- Josh Hammer scored the Spartans lone goal in the 22nd minute. Parker Healy would finish out the scoring for the Blue Devils in the 73rd minute.
