TROY, N.Y.—Buffalo State saw is school-record 17-game-unbeaten streak snapped today with a 3-0 loss to Western Connecticut State today's final day of the RPI Engineers Cup.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- West Conn jumped out to an early lead with two goals just over a minute apart, striking first in the 16th minute and then extending its lead with an 18th minute tally.
- The Colonials increased the margin, completing the scoring in the 65th minute and preserved the shutout.
- West Conn outshot Buffalo State 13-2, including 10-1 on goal.
- Nicole Torres (Wantagh/MacArthur) made five saves while allowing two goals in 34 minutes of play. Taylor Carillo (Pine Bush/Pine Bush) came on in relief, conceding one goal while making two stops.
FOR THE FOES
- Andrew DeVoe, Allison Oakley and Autumn Sorice all scored for the Colonials.
