Lauren Hansen (Blue Point/Bayport Blue Point) led the Bengals offense with 21 kills, but it was not enough as Buffalo State dropped a four-set decision to Nazareth on Wednesday evening.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Buffalo State opened up the first set with a 25-18 win, with Hansen leading the Bengals with six kills.
- Nazareth used a 6-0 run to open the second set to claim the second frame, 25-20.
- The Bengals battled in the third period, but lost momentum when Nazareth responded with a 9-0 run en route to a 25-15 victory.
- Buffalo State dropped the fourth set, 21-25.
- Allie Harford (Silver Creek/Silver Creek) and Brooke Latour (Lakewood/Southwestern) each finished with eight kills. Bryanna Fisher (Brooklyn/Midwood) added six kills.
- Alyssa Durski (Eden/Eden) had 43 assists.
FOR THE FOES
- Delaney Martin led the Golden Flyers with 15 kills. Jessica Barry added 38 assists.
