BUFFALO, N.Y.— After finding itself down by 16 points with six minutes left in the first half, Buffalo State battled back for the remainder of the evening, but fell short in an 82-75 loss to visiting Brockport in the SUNYAC contest this evening.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Sheldon Adams (Rochester/Bishop Kearney) led the Bengals for the third straight game, finishing with 23 points and six rebounds.
- Mike Henry (Syracuse/West Genesee) recorded his sixth double-double of the season with 19 points, 11 rebounds and five assists.
- Sir.Quintin Campbell (Tonawanda/Kenmore East) chipped in 16 points and 15 rebounds.
- Brockport used a 7-0 to gain the early advantage and used the momentum to take a 36-20 lead with 6:19 left in the first half.
- Buffalo State responded with a 16-3 to cut the lead to 43-36 at halftime.
- The Bengals watched the lead grow back up to 54-41 with 16:58 left in the second period, until a 3-pointer from Adams energized the Buffalo State offense.
- Henry and Adams responded with scoring 16 points combined in a nine minute span to cut the lead to 64-62 with 7:43 left in the frame.
- Brockport responded and finished the game on a 7-2 run to claim the win.
- Buffalo State outscored the Golden Eagles 9-2 in fast break points and 13-5 in second chance points
- Brockport finished the game with a 31-11 advantage in bench points

- Hamed Shamseldin led Brockport with 26 points and seven assists.
- Justin Summers chipped in 17 points and 15 rebounds.
