- Sir.Quintin Campbell (Tonawanda/Kenmore East) notched his sixth career double-double finishing with 10 points and 13 rebounds.
- Mike Henry (Syracuse/West Genesee) finished with nine points, four assists, and three rebounds.
- Buffalo State and New Paltz traded early runs as both teams were tied at 19-19 after the first 10 minutes of action.
- The Bengals used layups from Malik Turner (New York/NIA Prep) and Harrell to give them a three point lead with less than two minutes remaining.
- New Paltz capitalized on a fast break dunk to retake a 33-32 lead into halftime.
- The Hawks opened the second half on a 16-2 run and extended its lead to 14 points with 13 minutes left in the half.
- The Bengals used a 3-pointer from Zak Ciezki (Cheektowaga/Cheektowaga) to cut the deficit to nine at the midway point in the second half.
