Ian Sylves (Sloan, NY/JFK) made 28 saves for his nation-leading fifth shutout of the season to backstop visiting Buffalo State to a 3-0 victory over Brockport in a SUNYAC game this evening.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Cody Symonds (Woodbridge, ON/Emily Carr) finally opened the game's scoring with five minutes remaining in the second period, netting his third goal of the season with assists from Brody Power (Halifax, NS/Upper Canada College) and Zach Remers (Clarence, NY/Canisius).
- Michael Anthony Guerrera (Montreal, QC/OHA) extended the Bengals' lead early in the third period with his ninth of the season on a 4-on-3 power play. Anthony Passero (Fort Erie, ON/Lakeshore) assisted on the tally.
- Remers sealed the victory with an empty-net goal in the closing seconds.
- Brockport outshot the Bengals, 28-21, but could not solve Sylves.
- The Bengals were 1 for 5 with the man-advantage, while Brockport was 0 for 5. Buffalo State has successfully killed 22-consecutive shorthanded situations.
