BUFFALO, N.Y.—Potsdam scored first, but Buffalo State responded quickly to grab the lead and never trailed the rest of the way en route to a 52-41 victory today in a SUNYAC contest.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Mariah Rosario (Flushing/RFK) led Buffalo State with nine points and added six rebounds and three steals.
- Liv LeBaron (Corning/Corning East) and Kendall Mills (Buffalo/Kenmore East) netted eight points apiece.
- Buffalo State closed the first quarter with a 12-7 lead and outscored the Bears 8-6 in the second quarter to take a 20-13 lead into halftime.
- The Bengals pushed the lead to as many as 15 in the third quarter and coasted to the victory.
- The Bengals shot 29 percent from the field and Potsdam hit just 26 percent.
- Buffalo State converted 21 Potsdam turnovers into 19 points, while the Bears only managed four points off 18 Bengal miscues.

- Naya Walters led Potsdam with 12 points, and Drew Dufrane tallied 10.
