POTSDAM, N.Y.—
Vadim Vasjonkin (Tallinn, Estonia) and
Mac Wood (Simcoe, ON/SCS) scored a pair of goals apiece as Buffalo State rallied to erase a two-goal deficit to earn a 4-3 victory over host Potsdam this evening in SUNYAC play.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Potsdam scored a pair of first-period goals to take the early lead.
- Vasjonkin scored his first of the season just over two minutes into the second period to cut the deficit in half, but Potsdam reclaimed the two-goal advantage just five minute later.
- Buffalo State pulled back within one later in the frame with a power-play strike from Wood, and then Vasjonkin's second of the game evened the score just 1:21 later.
- Wood finally put the Bengals ahead with his second of the game and team-leading sixth of the season on the power-play with just under six minutes remaining in the third period.
- Connor Minch (Manchester, NH/Manchester Central) made 26 saves in the win.
- Buffalo State finished with a 33-29 advantage in shots and was 2 for 8 on the power play. Potsdam was 1 for 3 with the man-advantage.
- Reid Bibb (Gaithersburg, MD/Gaithersburg) and Zach Remers (Clarence, NY/Canisius) chipped in a pair of assists each.
