BUFFALO, N.Y.—
Jackie Dufresne (Lake View/Frontier) tallied five points and Buffalo State rallied to take a second half lead, but could not hang on as it dropped a heartbreaking 18-17 decision to visiting Lycoming in tonight's non-conference contest on Coyer Field.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Dufresne paced Buffalo State with four goals and one assist.
- Christina Krowel (Amseterdam/B.H.-B.L.), Ally Ruggieri (Brockport/Brockport) and Alanna Herne (Tonawanda/Tonawanda) netted three goals apiece.
- Nina Schaefer (Lafayette/Lafayette) chipped in two goals and an assist, while Kayla Rose (Lancaster/Lancaster) tallied a goal and an assist.
- Morgan Hogue (Painted Post/Corning) finished with one goal and two assists.
- After trading goals in the opening minutes, Lycoming rattled off three-straight to close the half with an 11-7 lead at halftime.
- The Bengals opened the second half with seven-straight goals from five different players to retake a 14-11 lead with 20:31 left in the contest.
- Lycoming responded with a three goal run of its own to even the score at 15-15 with 7:39 remaining.
- Buffalo State took its final lead of the contest when Dufresne connected on her fourth goal of the game to push the score to 17-16 with 2:09 left.
- The Warriors rattled off back-to-back goals, including a free position shot with 16 seconds remaining, to retake the lead and earn the win.
- Buffalo State finished 14 of 15 in clear attempts but were outshot 35-27.
- Lycoming finished with a 17-2 advantage in free position attempts during the game.

- Bailey Parchesky picked up the win in net for Lycoming, finishing with two saves in 24 minutes of relief.
