NORTHFIELD, Vt.—Nationally No. 13-ranked Endicott rallied to score three third-period goals to escape with a 4-3 victory over Buffalo State today in the opening round of the Northfield Savings Bank Holiday Tournament hosted by Norwich University.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Endicott opened the scoring early, but Buffalo State responded with the next three goals to take a 3-1 advantage into the third period.
- After an early goal by the Gulls, Jon Colley (Stouffville, ON/Stouffville District) answered with his second of the season just 37 seconds later.
- Vadim Vasjonkin (Tallinn, Estonia) netted his fifth goal of the season on the power play midway through the opening frame to put Buffalo State ahead.
- Mac Wood's (Simcoe, ON/SCS) seventh of the year was the lone marker of the middle stanza to extend the Bengals lead.
- The Gulls roared back in the third outshooting Buffalo State 14-7. Endicott scored just 19 seconds into the period and then tied the score just over two minutes later while shorthanded, before potting the game winner with less than five minutes remaining.
- The Bengals finished with a 30-29 edge in shots on goal, as Connor Minch (Manchester, NH/Manchester Central) totaled 25 saves.
- Michael Anthony Guerrera (Montreal, QC/OHA) added a pair of assists for the Bengals.
- Buffalo State was 1 for 5 on the power play, while Endicott finished 0 for 2.

- Four different players scored and 10 players registered a point for Endicott.
- Conor O'Brien made 27 saves in the win.
