OSWEGO, N.Y.— Oswego tallied five goals in the final two periods, including a three-goal third period, en route to a 6-2 victory over visiting Buffalo State in NEWHL action this evening.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Oswego stormed out of the gates with the game's opening goal just 43 seconds into the contest to take the early lead.
- Buffalo State responded just nine minutes later as Natasha Steinle (Morrison, CO/CIHA) notched her fourth goal of the early season on an assist from Cheyenne Matson (Wasilla, AK/Matsu Career & Tech) to even the score.
- The Lakers scored twice within a three-minute span in the second period to extend their lead to 3-1 at the final intermission.
- Oswego capitalized on a 23-8 shots on goal advantage in the third period by scoring three goals in five minutes to push its lead to 6-1.
- The Bengals closed out the game's scoring, with just four minutes remaining in the contest, as Tristin Stetson (Anchorage, AK/West) scored her second goal of the season off of assists from Lila Toczek (Pendelton, NY/Starpoint) and Berkleigh Radcliffe (Anchorage, AK/South Anchorage).
- Bri Gawronski (Dunkirk/Mt. Mercy) finished with a season-high 47 saves in net for the Bengals.
