LOCATION: Coyer Field - Buffalo, N.Y.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Brockport controlled the bulk of possession in the opening minutes, but Buffalo State connected on its first chance in the ninth minute when Ali Shawish (Lackawanna/Lackawanna) turned on a throw in from Trevor Moreland (Newfane/Newfane) and ripped it into the far upper corner from the top edge of the box. The goal was Shawish's ninth of the season.
- The score stayed 1-0 in favor of the Bengals until Brockport connected on a long throw in and converted a header inside the back post to even the score.
- Chances remained at a premium through the rest of regulation.
- The biggest threat during the opening overtime was a diving save by Andreas Queen (Stone Ridge/Rondout Valley) that canceled a potential own goal.
- Smith finally ended the game with his second goal of the season three minutes into the second overtime when he blasted a rebound off of a blocked shot from Saleman Salim (Nairobi, Kenya/Hutch Tech) into the top left corner.
- Queen officially ended with three saves as the Bengals recorded a 15-10 advantage in shot attempts.
