OSWEGO, N.Y.—
Connor Zak (Amherst, NY/Nichols) scored 1:02 into overtime to give Buffalo State a 3-2 victory over visiting Potsdam tonight in a SUNYAC contest at the Ice Arena.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Vadim Vasjonkin (Tallinn, Estonia) added a goal and an assist for Buffalo State, and Jon Colley (Stouffville, ON/Stouffville District) also scored.
- Hayden Ford (Medford, NJ/St. Augustine Prep) tallied a pair of assists.
- Colley opened the scoring just 3:53 into the game with his sixth of the season, and Vasjonkin netted his eighth in the closing minutes of the first period to give the Bengals a 2-0 lead before the first intermission.
- Potsdam responded with a pair of goals in the second period to even the score.
- Neither team scored in the third period thanks to a five-minute penalty kill by Buffalo State and an acrobatic cross-crease save Connor Minch (Manchester, NH/Manchester Central) with less than five minutes remaining.
- Zak ended the game early in overtime when he collected his own rebound and pulled it to his backhand before sending to the top of the net to clinch the victory.
- Buffalo State finished with a 32-28 edge in shots, including 3-0 in overtime.
- Minch turned aside 26 shots for the win.
