BROCKPORT, N.Y.— Buffalo State outscored Brockport 27-9 from 3-point range and pulled away in the second half for a 68-54 road victory tonight in SUNYAC play.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Liv LeBaron (Corning/Corning East) led Buffalo State with 20 points, including four 3-pointers, to go with a game-high 14 rebounds, five assists and five steals.
- Tori Hackett (Canandaigua/Canandaigua Acad.) added a career-best 16 points on 8 of 12 shooting from the field.
- Katie Villarini (Hamburg/Hamburg) chipped in nine points, seven rebounds and five assists, and Lexi Emmi (Liverpool/Liverpool) was 3 for 4 from beyond the arc for nine points.
- The teams traded the lead for much of the first half before the Bengals took a 28-26 edge into the locker room at halftime.
- Buffalo State never trailed the rest of the way, opening up a 13-point lead in the third quarter and never allowed the Golden Eagles to threaten in the final frame.
- Brockport was unable to keep up with the Bengals who held a 12-0 advantage in fast-break points and a 24-11 margin in points off turnovers.

- Three players led Brockport with just eight points apiece, while nobody secured more than six rebounds.
NOTEWORTHY
- LeBaron passed Monique Hanks and Chrissy Milleville to move into seventh on Buffalo State's all-time scoring list with 1,117 points. LeBaron, who transferred prior to her sophomore season, is just 30 points behind Amy Danner for sixth.
