Trevor Micucci (Hamburg, NY/Connections Acad.) made 36 saves, but it was not enough as visiting Potsdam clipped Buffalo State 2-1 in overtime tonight at the Ice Arena.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Buffalo State opened the scoring with the lone goal of the first period on the power play when Nikita Kozyrev (Tallinn, Estonia) one-timed a pass from Jon Colley (Stouffville, ON/Stouffville District) for his eighth goal of the season. Zach Remers (Clarence, NY/Canisius) also drew an assist.
- Potsdam evened the score with a power-play goal of its own in the second period and neither team would score again in regulation.
- The Bears ended the game on their seventh shot of the overtime period, netting the game-winner with just 21 seconds remaining.
- Potsdam outshot the Bengals 38-18 for the game, including 7-0 in overtime.
FOR THE FOES
- Bryce Ferrell scored both goals for Potsdam.
- Michael Paglucca needed to make just 17 saves for the victory.
