ONEONTA, N.Y.— The Buffalo State women's soccer team were unable to solve the Oneonta defense, dropping a SUNYAC contest to the Red Dragons by a 3-0 score Friday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- After a 22-minute stalemate, Oneonta's Emma Kirkpatrick found herself open on a breakaway thanks to a long Shannon Lowney pass in the 23rd minute. Kirkpatrick finished low with her right foot, past Vene to her right.
- Just after halftime, Abbey Wood took a shot in the 51st minute off a corner kick that was parried by Vene, but fell right to Morgan Creeden, who knocked in the rebound.
- Creeden doubled up four minutes later, as Kirkpatrick found her for a 55th-minute goal.
FOR THE FOES
- Claire Lepper did not record a save in the clean sheet, her first of the season.
- Oneonta out shot Buffalo State by a 15-2 margin.
