HOW IT HAPPENED
- It took just over five minutes for Buffalo State to get on the board, as Ford and Allison pushed the puck up ice to an open Frazee, who made a nifty move on the goalie, beating him glove-side.
- Trine responded with three consecutive goals, tying the game on a Garrett Hallford tally late in the first period, then striking for two goals in a 3:42 span early in the second period.
- The Bengals responded down 3-1, converting on a power-play tally as Vanuden ripped a shot from the wing into net.
- In the third period, on another power play, the Bengals found themselves on an odd-man rush, as Bizal's shot was saved by the goalie. Kozyrev grabbed the rebound, feeding it to Logar for the one-timer as 'State tied the game at three.
- Just under two minutes later, Jared Bowman found Tierney ripped a shot from the top of the left faceoff circle, as the puck dribbled past a diving Norrman into net at 14:07.
- Jackson Clark finished the scoring for Trine with an empty net goal with 10 seconds remaining in regulation.
