BUFFALO, N.Y.—Brockport used a seven-run sixth inning to cruise to a 12-2 six-inning victory in today's SUNYAC opener, but host Buffalo State bounced back to claim the nightcap, 6-2.

- Brockport converted 14 hits into 12 runs, including a seven-run, seven-hit sixth inning to pull away for the shortened 12-2 victory in the first game.
- Oriana Castello (Pearl River/Nanuet) collected one of Buffalo State's three hits for the game, going 1 for 2 with an RBI and a run scored.
- Sydney McIntosh (Buffalo/Kenmore West) was also 1 for 2 with an RBI.
- Carli Bogue (Elba/Elba) took the loss, pitching four innings, allowing six hits and five runs with two strikeouts.
- Olivia Carr (West Falls/East Aurora) pitched the final two innings, surrendering eight hits and seven runs (three earned).
FOR THE FOES
- Catherine Johnson allowed three hits to go with five walks and four strikeouts in the win for Brockport.

- Hannah Kwasniewski (Blasdell/St. Mary's) was 2 for 2 with a run scored, and McIntosh was 2 for 3 with a pair of RBIs.
