Eyes on the Bengals
-Buffalo State enters the game looking to snap a six-game losing streak. After starting the season 4-4-0 and defeating #10 Elmira College, the Bengals have slipped to 4-10-0 (2-4-0 SUNYAC) after a 6-3 loss to Nazareth on Saturday evening.
-Bengal goalies have played to a 2.50 GAA in conference games this year, with
Emil Norrman (Kungsbacka, Sweden/Dells Ducks) leading the way with a .951 save percentage in five games.
-Buffalo State is the least penalized team in SUNYAC play with just 50 penalty minutes in six games, and the Bengals have only allowed three goals from 25 short-handed situations (88.0%).

A Look at the Lakers

-Expect to see Steven Kozikoski between the pipes for the Lakers on Friday. The junior goalie has started all six conference games, posting a .941 save percentage and a 4-1-1 record.
-The Lakers' leading scorer is Alex DiCarlo, who has eight goals this season. Nineteen players have scored at least one goal for Oswego, including game-winning goals from nine different players.
The History
Oswego holds a 49-4-4 edge all-time over Buffalo State, and the Lakers have won two straight against the Bengals. Oswego came away with a 3-2 victory in the last meeting between the teams on Feb. 21, 2020.
