Men’s basketball slowed by Oneonta in SUNYAC battle

ONEONTA, NY – The Buffalo State men's basketball team scored a season-low 42 points, as host Oneonta pulled away in the second half of a 92-42 decision, in SUNYAC action Friday evening.

  • The Red Dragons got hot from the field, as Michel Ortale keyed a 22-4 run, taking a 26-point, 49-23 lead in the final minutes of the half.
  • Oneonta put some distance on the Bengals in the second half, outscoring the visitors by a 43-18 margin as they shot 50 percent (16-of-32) from the field.
