OSWEGO, NY — The Buffalo State men's hockey team was unable to find the back of the net in a Friday night SUNYAC matchup, as host Oswego fired three second-period goals in a 5-0 decision.

- Hayden Ford (Medford, N.J./Philadelphia Revolution), Joe Glamos (Baldwinsville, N.Y./New Jersey Titans), A.J. Marinelli (Amherst, NY/Lockport Regals), and Andrew Logar (Niagara Falls, NY/Corpus Christi Ice Rays) each led the Bengals with six shots a piece. Ford added four blocked shots.
- Emil Norrman (Kungsbaka, Sweden/Dells Ducks) stopped 32 shots in goal.
- Buffalo State were outshot by a 70-54 margin, but the shots on goal were much closer as Oswego held a 37-35 margin.
- The penalty-kill unit was strong for the Bengals, as they held Oswego without a goal in three chances.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Oswego got on the board early, scoring two minutes in as Ryan Bunka tallied his second of the season.
- The Lakers got their second goal of the game 2:40 into the second period, as Tristan Francis found the net just after killing a Buffalo State power play.
- Eight seconds after the ensuing face-off, Jackson Arcan pushed Oswego's lead to three with his second tally of the season.
- Shane Bull finished the Laker flurry at the 4:16 mark, as he scored his second to give Oswego a 4-0 lead.
- Midway through the third period, the Bengals got one of its best chances to score on the rush, as Nikita Kozyrev (Tallinn, Estonia/Springfield Jr. Blues) fired a cross-ice pass to Marinelli with just the goalie to beat, but was denied at the door by Steven Kozikowski.
- Quinn Warmuth then took advantage for the Lakers, as he scored his first career goal at the 12:56 mark.

- Five different Lakers tallied a goal.
- Travis Broughman led the team with three assists and seven shots.
- Connor Sleeth added two assists.
- Kozikoski made 35 saves in the victory.
