PLATTSBURGH, NY – The Buffalo State men's basketball team fell 77-75 in a back-and-forth matchup at Plattsburgh on Saturday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Back-to-back 3-pointers by Hughey and Argjend Imeri (Syracuse, NY/Nottingham) gave Buffalo State an early 6-2 lead just one minute in the game.
- The Cardinals held the lead for the majority of the first half, but Buffalo State took a 31-29 lead after another Hughey 3-pointer with under six minutes left in the half.
- The teams traded baskets, and Marlon Todd's 3-pointer gave Plattsburgh a 37-35 halftime lead.
- Tied at 43-43 in the second half, Davis knocked down a 3-pointer to give the Bengals a 46-43 lead with 14 minutes left.
- A layup by Weekes stretched the Buffalo State lead to its largest of the game at 52-47.
- Plattsburgh took a 56-54 lead with eight minutes left after a 9-2 run.
- Hughey's jumper with 51 seconds left gave the Bengals a 73-71 lead, but Kevin Tabb nailed a 3-pointer on the ensuing Plattsburgh possession.
- Buffalo State was unable to connect on three shot attempts in the next two possessions as Plattsburgh held on for the win.

- Erik Salo led Plattsburgh with 23 points, while Todd had 14 points and five assists.
