POTSDAM, NY – Potsdam pushed ahead with an 11-0, second-half run, as the Buffalo State men's basketball team finished a busy week with a 77-66 loss.

- Robert Richards (Williamsville, NY/Williamsville South) led the Bengals with a career-high 22 points, shooting 8-of-13 from the field.
- Aaron Davis (Beacon, NY/Beacon) added nine points, nine assists, and four rebounds.
- The Bengals shot 38.5 percent (25-of-65) from the field and 47.4 percent (9-of-19) from the 3-point line.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Bengals shot out to a double-digit, 18-7 lead, after an and-one basket by Davis and a pair of threes by DaRon Hughey (Hartford, CT/The Masters School)
- Potsdam clawed back, tying the game at 30 on a Dante Viskovich jumper.
- A late layup by Argjend Imeri (Liverpool, NY/Nottingham) gave Buffalo State a 40-35 lead at the half.
- A Richards 3-pointer gave Buffalo State its largest lead of the second half, at eight (47-39).
- The Bears clawed back, tying the game at 51 after a driving layup by Isaac Oduro Jr.
- With the Bengals leading 52-51, Tyrese Baptiste hit a pair of jumpers, sparking an 11-0 run to give Potsdam a double digit lead.
- Buffalo State made one final run, as a pair of Brendyn Cheng (Wantagh, NY/Commack) free throws brought the deficit to five, at 62-57.
- The Bears held Buffalo State at bay over the final 4:42, pushing the lead to as many as 13 points.
FOR THE FOES
- Baptiste led all scorers with 26 points, adding eight rebounds and three blocked shots.
- MeSean Johnson and Brandon Segar, Jr. added 13 and 10 points, respectively.
