BUFFALO, NY – The Buffalo State women's soccer team was defeated by SUNYAC foe New Paltz in conference action on Saturday afternoon by a final score of 3-1 at Coyer Field.

- New Paltz got on the scoreboard first in the ninth minute, as Katie Buquiccio sent a through ball, and Brooke Kelleher was able to connect with her right foot into the bottom left corner of the net.
- The score remained 1-0 into halftime as the Hawks outshot Buffalo State 9-4 in the half.
- New Paltz added a pair of insurance goals within six minutes of each other in the second half.
- Hoerner got Buffalo State on the board late with a goal from outside the penalty area, blasting a pass from a corner kick opportunity into the top right corner with her right foot.
