ONEONTA, NY – The Buffalo State women's volleyball team dropped the opening set, but recovered to win three consecutive sets for a 3-1 victory over Oneonta on the road on Friday evening. The second set between the teams featured the most combined points in a set by the Bengals and an opponent in over a decade.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Oneonta raced out to a 13-1 lead in the opening set. Buffalo State was unable to recover, dropping the first set 25-15.
- Tied at 14-14 in the second set, the teams alternated points to a 32-32 tie. After a Red Dragons attack error, Riley Domin (Getzville, NY/Williamsville South) finished off the marathon set by surprising Oneonta with a tip for a kill, as the Bengals evened the match with a 34-32 victory.
- Trailing 13-10 in the third set, the Bengals won six straight points for a 16-13 lead. Buffalo State maintained at least a two-point edge for the remainder of the set, and a kill by Eden Harrison (Eldersburg, MD/Century) closed out a 25-22 victory.
- Buffalo State led 16-12 in the fourth set, before Oneonta rallied to even the score at 19-19. Trailing 23-21, the Bengals won the final four points of the set for the match victory.

- Casey Biggers had 21 kills for Oneonta.
- Kayla Rende handed out 46 assists in the match.
