BUFFALO, NY – The Bengals women's volleyball team swept their match 3-0 against the visiting Plattsburgh Cardinals tonight at the Buffalo State Sports Arena. Buffalo State opened up with their first of two SUNYAC matches this weekend.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Bengals held control for much of the first set, never losing the lead after a 5-5 tie.
- During the second set, the Bengals continued that trend, and never trailed throughout.
- Plattsburgh attempted to cut into the Bengals lead, but Buffalo State held strong throughout.
- In the final set, Plattsburgh stayed competitive throughout until the Bengals went up 18-13.
- The Bengals would finish the game on a 7-3 run to notch the victory.

- Kyleigh Ganz had 8 kills for the Cardinals.
- Ganz and Emma Rivers each had 10 assists.
