BUFFALO, NY – The Buffalo State women's hockey team dropped a NEWHL contest at home to Cortland on Friday afternoon by a final score of 4-0.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Cortland opened the scoring over seven minutes into the opening period, as Mia Hlasnick stole the puck in the neutral zone, and used a nifty deke to beat Auge on a backhand for the goal.
- On a delayed penalty in the last minute of play, Cortland doubled its lead by taking advantage of the extra skater, as Ainsley Delacourt netted a wrist shot from the left point.
- In the second period, Cortland scored once again, as Hlasnick won an offensive zone faceoff, and Beth McArthur's pass from the right point redirected perfectly to Morgan Raymond, who slotted home the shot past Auge.
- Cortland added a final tally in the third period, as Jillian Hlasnick knocked in a rebound after Mia Hlasnick's initial shot was saved.
