PLATTSBURGH, NY – Plattsburgh netted the game-winning goal with under four minutes remaining to earn a 4-3 victory over the Buffalo State men's hockey team in SUNYAC action on Saturday afternoon.

- Connor Bizal (Elk River, MN/Boston Jr. Rangers), Parker Allison (Dallas, TX/Neepawa Natives), and Aidan LaValley (Champlain, NY/Vermont Lumberjacks) each netted a goal for the Bengals. Bizal also added an assist.
- Tyler Vanuden (Fort Frances, ON/Finlandia University) and Chris Blango (Chadds Ford, PA/Philadelphia Little Flyers) had two assists each.
- Emil Norrman (Kungsbacka, Sweden/Dells Ducks) stopped 47 shots in goal for Buffalo State.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Bizal got the Bengals on the board first with a power-play goal with a little over five minutes remaining in the first period.
- Plattsburgh knotted the game up around the halfway point in the second period with a shot from the point.
- The Bengals killed three penalties in the second period, including a five-minute major to keep the game tied into the second intermission.
- Allison scored another power-play goal with a shot from the left point to give Buffalo State a 2-1 lead early in the third.
- The lead was short-lived, as the Cardinals responded 40 seconds later, and then scored less than two minutes later to take the lead.
- LaValley knocked in a rebound off a shot by Nick Stuckless (Orangeville, ON/Skidmore College) to tie the score at 3-3 with under nine minutes remaining.
- Plattsburgh scored the winner with 3:18 left in the game, and Buffalo State pulled Norrman in the final two minutes, but the Bengals were unable to find an equalizing goal.

- Brendan Young scored two goals in the third period, including the game-winning goal.
