FREDONIA, NY – The Buffalo State men's hockey team fell 5-3 to the Fredonia Blue Devils after a pair of late goals tonight at the Steele Hall Ice Arena.

  • Nearing the final minute of the first period, Blango evened up the score 1-1 as Drayton Todoroff (Jackson, MI/Amarillo Wranglers (NAHL)) and Connor Bizal (Elk River, MN/Boston Jr. Rangers (EHL)) earned the assists.
  • In the second period, LaValley scored on a Bengals power play after a roughing penalty.
  • Stuckless would score his goal shortly after to give Buffalo State a 3-1 lead.
  • Within the next two minutes, the Blue Devils would answer back to even the score 3-3 after two periods of play.
  • Fredonia scored two goals in the final two minutes of regulation to secure the win.
  • Nikita Kozyrev (Tallinn, Estonia/Springfield Jr. Blues (NAHL)) and Andrew Logar (Niagara Falls, NY/Corpus Christi Ice Rays (NAHL)) also had assists on the night.
 
FOR THE FOES
  • Five different Blue Devils scored in the win.
  • Logan Dyck made 28 saves in net for Fredonia.
