BUFFALO, NY – The Buffalo State women's basketball team fell short this afternoon as they couldn't get past the Oswego State Lakers by a final score of 73-66 at the Sports Arena.

- Adiya Jones (Washington, D.C./McKinley Technology) added a double-double with 15 points of her own with a team high 17 rebounds.
- Jadyn Jones (Gowanda, NY/Lake Shore) led Buffalo State with five assists.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Both offenses came out firing as it was a back-and-forth affair for most of the first quarter.
- After Jones netted a pair of free throws, Oswego would end the quarter on a 8-2 run.
- In the second quarter, Oswego's offense began to pull away and went into the half up 11.
- Oswego opened the second half to a game-high lead of 14.
- The Bengals continued to chip at the Lakers' lead, but the team fell just short.
- Oswego would score nine of the last ten baskets to seal the win.
FOR THE FOES
- Four different lakers netted double-digit points.
- Diamon Pickett led the way with a double-double as she had 22 points and a team high 15 rebounds.
