- Figueroa got Buffalo State on the board first, snapping a wrist shot just inside the far post after a solid cross-ice feed from Glamos.
- The Bengals held the 1-0 advantage into the first intermission.
- Oswego State netted three consecutive goals in the second period, before Vanuden took a drop pass from LaValley and ripped a shot off the post and into the net for his ninth goal of the year.
- The Lakers added a pair of insurance goals in the third period, including a 2-on-1 break performed with incredible celerity for the final tally.
