Men's Hockey Hosts Pair of Pivotal SUNYAC Contests This Weekend

Bengals face Oswego State Friday at 7 pm, Cortland Saturday at 7 pm

BUFFALO, NY – The Buffalo State men's hockey team wraps up play for the fall semester with a pair of pivotal SUNYAC matchups at home this weekend. The Bengals will face #10 Oswego State on Friday at 7 p.m. and Cortland on Saturday at 7 p.m.

EYES ON THE BENGALS
  • Buffalo State enters the weekend with a 6-5-0 overall record (3-3-0 SUNYAC). The Bengals split a pair of SUNYAC games last weekend, falling to Geneseo before bouncing back with a 4-3 win over Brockport.
  • Last weekend, Nikita Kozyrev (Tallinn, Estonia/Springfield Jr. Blues) registered five points on two goals and three assists, earning SUNYAC Men's Hockey Athlete of the Week honors.

  • Cal Schell has been Oswego State's top goalie this season, recording a 6-3-0 record, as well as a .924 save percentage and 2.30 goals against average.
