ASTON, PA – The Buffalo State women's hockey team dropped a non-conference contest on the road to Neumann University by a score of 3-2 on Friday evening.

INSIDE THE BENGAL BOX SCORE

• Emma Ramseier (Oak Creek, WI/Milwaukee Jr. Admirals) and Vanessa Willick (Williamsville, NY/Buffalo Bisons) both netted goals for Buffalo State.
• Hannah Tingley (Stoneboro, PA/Washington Pride) Madi Digges (Madison, AL/St. Louis Jr. Blues) and Bethany Horvatits (Elma, NY/Cazenovia Chiefs) each tallied an assist.

 
HOW IT HAPPENED

• Ramseier scored the opening goal of the game in the first period with just seven seconds remaining in the frame to give Buffalo State the 1-0 advantage into the first intermission.
• Neumann responded with a goal early in the second period to tie the score.
• The Knights took advantage of a Buffalo State penalty, scoring a power-play goal to take the lead.
• Neumann then added a shorthanded goal late in the period to take a 3-1 advantage.
• Buffalo State was able to pull within one on Willick's fifth goal of the season, but the Bengals were unable to find the equalizer.

• Kaylee Voss netted the game-winning goal for Neumann.
