PLATTSBURGH, NY — Host Plattsburgh scored three goals on special teams, two short-handed goals and one power-play goal, to pull out a 4-3 victory over the Buffalo State men's hockey team in SUNYAC action on Friday evening.

- Vanuden gave the Bengals a 2-1 lead with less than eight minutes left in the period, as Buffalo State took the lead into the first intermission.
- Plattsburgh knotted the score with a power-play goal just five minutes into the second period.
- The Bengals went on the power play after an elbowing penalty with under five minutes left in the second period, but the Cardinals were able to net a short-handed goal to take a 3-2 lead into the second intermission.
- Logar tied the game at 3-3 seven minutes into the third period off an assist from Figueroa.
- Another Plattsburgh penalty with six minutes remaining led to the Cardinals' game-winning goal, as Trey Thomas netted the short-handed goal for the 4-3 victory.
