POTSDAM, NY— The Buffalo State men's hockey team scored first, but host Potsdam responded with five straight goals to pull out a 5-1 victory on Saturday evening.

- A pair of Potsdam goals in the final six minutes of the second period gave the Bears a 3-1 lead at the second intermission.
- Potsdam added two goals in the final two minutes of regulation to seal the 5-1 victory.
