Eyes on the Bengals
-Buffalo State currently sits as the fourth seed in the SUNYAC after sweeping two games against Oneonta (79-71) and New Paltz (64-61) over the weekend. The Bengals are 11-8 overall (8-5 SUNYAC).
-Buffalo State was extremely efficient from the free throw line in the two victories last weekend, knocking down 51 of 59 attempts from the charity stripe, good for a .864 percentage.

Katie Villarini (Hamburg, NY/Hamburg) became the fifth player in program history to record multiple 400-point seasons. Through 19 games, she has 437 points, just 150 points shy of Liv LeBaron's Buffalo State single-season record of 587 points in 2019-20.
A Look at the Lakers
-Oswego enters tonight with a 4-15 record (1-12 SUNYAC), after a pair of losses at home to Potsdam and Plattsburgh over the weekend.
-Danielle Caivana is the Lakers' leading scorer this season, averaging 14.4 points per game.
-The strength of the Oswego team this season has been perimeter defense, as the Lakers hold opponents to a .223 percentage from 3-point range, allowing them to stay in games despite scoring just 56.4 points per game, the lowest total in the SUNYAC.

Buffalo State holds a commanding 47-19 record over Oswego all-time, and the Bengals are looking to make it three consecutive victories over the Lakers. Buffalo State came away with a 78-64 victory on the opening weekend of SUNYAC play this season.
