Eyes on the Bengals
 
-Buffalo State is 2-2 and coming off a close 14-10 defeat to Lycoming University on Saturday afternoon. Julia Wachna (Syracuse, NY/Onondaga) led the Bengals in scoring in the contest, notching four goals to tie her career high.    
 
-The Bengals are led in goal scoring this season by two new members of the program; Sarah Fineour (West Seneca, NY/West Seneca West) and Sage Running Rabbit (Siksika, AB/Strathmore). Fineour has 10 goals, including five goals in a win over Wells, while Running Rabbit has seven goals on the year.
 
-Anastacia Wells (Rome, NY/Rome Free Academy) has recorded at least three caused turnovers in every game, and leads the SUNYAC with 15 for the season.
 
-Liz Schultheis (Holley, NY/Brockport) has recorded a goal and an assist in every game this season, and leads Buffalo State with 13 points on five goals and eight assists.
 
Scouting the Saxons
 
-Alfred is also 2-2 on the season, but coming off consecutive defeats to Grove City and Chatham.
 
-In its victories, Alfred has scored an average of 20 goals per game, while combining to score just 13 total goals in its two losses.
 
-Amelia Booth and Brenna Turner have done the majority of the scoring for the Saxons, tallying 20 and 21 goals respectively. Booth is also second in the nation with 12.25 draw controls per game.
 
-The Bengals and Saxons shared a common opponent in the early going, with both sides defeating Wells by identical scores of 19-3.

These two squads haven't faced each other since the 2004 season, when Buffalo State came away with a 15-11 victory.
