A Look At The Bengals
- Buffalo State won its season opener this past Wednesday vs the Medaille College Mustangs 10-7.
- Sarah Fineour (West Seneca, N.Y./West Seneca West) led the way for the Bengals with four goals on the day, while Lauren Rinow (Lakeview, NY/Frontier) offered two of her own with four caused turnovers in the effort.
- Liz Schultheis (Holley, N.Y./Brockport) scored and added an assist, while also winning three draws.
- Three other Bengals each scored once to round out the offensive output for Buffalo State in the victory.
- The third quarter was the key in an otherwise even battle, as the Bengals outscored the Mustangs by a 4-0 margin.
