Box Score BUFFALO, N.Y. – Allegheny College scored 12 unanswered goals, pulling away from the Buffalo State women's lacrosse team as the Bengals dropped a 17-3 decision to the Gators Saturday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Allegheny got on the board with three goals in the first eight minutes of the first period.
- The Bengals got on the board with 5:42 left in the period, as Schultheis found Vogl in front of net for her first goal of the season.
- Allegheny's Emily Herrold tallied her second goal of the period, this time on a free possession chance, as the Gators led 4-1 after one.
- The second quarter was all Allegheny, as they tallied four consecutive goals, including a pair of free position chances, taking an 8-1 lead into halftime.
- The Allegheny lead grew in the third, as the Gators erupted for seven goals, leading 15-1 after three.
- Buffalo State broke the 12-0 Allegheny run midway through the fourth, as Stack found Schultheis, who fired low for her second goal of the season, bringing the score to 15-2.
- Ema Caragein answered for the Gators at the 4:55 mark, scoring in transition to push the lead to 14 (16-2).
- Buffalo finished the scoring on a rocket of a finish by Wademan with three minutes to go, as she fired a high shot past the goalie's stick side into the corner of the net.
- Allegheny finished the scoring in the final minute, as Caragein fed Jenna Cassani for her first goal of the game.
FOR THE FOES
- Grace Baginski led Allegheny with four goals, adding two ground balls and six draw controls.
- Senna Perelman added three goals and one assist for four points, earning three draws.
- Herrold and Lauren Petrarca each scored twice, and Liz Dolan led the team with two helpers.
