THE BREAKDOWN ON THE BENGALS
 
-Buffalo State has a 9-17 overall record (3-7 SUNYAC) after splitting a doubleheader against Fredonia on Friday evening.
 
-Over her last six games, Oriana Castello (Pearl River, NY/Nanuet) has nine hits in 16 at bats, good for a .563 batting average, while also scoring six runs.
 
-In her last three appearances, Ella Susi (Lakeview, NY/Frontier) has pitched 13.1 innings, while allowing just two earned runs and striking out eight batters.
 
-Three Bengals are tied for the longest current hitting streak on the team. Taylor Benton (Niagara Falls, NY/Niagara Wheatfield), Sarah Congelosi (Montgomery, NY/Valley Central), and Castello have hit safely in five consecutive games. Caitlyn Parson (Webster, NY/Webster Thomas) has reached base safely in 11 straight games.
 
EYES ON THE TIGERS
 
-RIT enters Wednesday with a 5-15 overall record (0-6 Liberty League), having lost eight consecutive games after being swept by Union in a doubleheader on Saturday afternoon.
 
-The Tigers have struggled to win at home, holding a 0-6 record in games at RIT Softball Field.
 
-Hannah Trumble leads RIT at the plate with a .385 batting average , while Chloe McManus is hitting .333 and has scored a team-high 17 runs.
 
-The Tigers' pitching staff has a combined 6.87 earned run average, while allowing eight home runs and a .366 batting average for opponents.

Buffalo State holds a 36-10 advantage in the series since 1990. The Bengals have also won six consecutive games over the Tigers.
