Softball makes final regular-season road trip

Bengals visit Geneseo on Friday (3 p.m.), end weekend with Saturday trip to Brockport (noon)

BUFFALO, N.Y. – The Buffalo State Bengals softball team will look to extend its three-game win streak, as the team returns to SUNYAC action with a weekend matchup at both Geneseo and Brockport. The Bengals will begin the weekend against Geneseo on Friday, with doubleheader action beginning at 3 p.m. The Bengals then finish the weekend with two against Brockport on Saturday, beginning at noon.

The Bengal Breakdown
  • Buffalo State (11-17, 3-7 SUNYAC) is coming off of an impressive doubleheader sweep of RIT on Wednesday, outlasting the Tigers by a 14-11 score in 10 innings in game one, and 6-1 in game two.
  • The Bengals tallied 27 hits in game one, the third-highest total by any Division III team this season.
  • Caitlyn Parsons (Webster, N.Y./Webster Thomas) tallied seven hits Wednesday, as she has now reached base in 13 consecutive games.
