BUFFALO, NY – Sarah Fineour (West Seneca, NY/West Seneca West) and
Liz Schultheis (Holley, NY/Brockport) combined to score ten goals, leading the Buffalo State lacrosse to a 19-7 victory over Mt. Aloysius in non-conference action on Wednesday afternoon.

INSIDE THE BENGAL BOX SCORE
-Fineour scored a career-high six goals on 11 shots to lead Buffalo State. She also added a pair of assists in the victory.

Anastacia Wells (Rome, NY/Rome Free Academy) caused five turnovers and led Buffalo State with 11 draw controls.
-Buffalo State held a 41-14 advantage in shot attempts, and scored on all four of its free position shots.
HOW IT HAPPENED
-Buffalo State jumped out to a 4-0 lead in the opening five minutes on goals by Rinow, Fineour, Schultheis, and Abdellatif.
-Fineour then scored four consecutive goals, beating the clock to score with one second remaining to lead 8-0 after one period.
-The Mounties scored twice, but Buffalo State added five goals in the second period to take a 13-2 lead into halftime.
-The teams alternated goals in the third period, as the Bengals led 16-5 after three quarters.
-Mt. Aloysius cut the Buffalo State lead down to as few as 10, but Schultheis added a pair of goals to restore a 12-goal advantage, and Rinow completed the scoring with under three minutes left for the 19-7 final score.
FOR THE FOES
-Mallie Lanier scored three goals to lead Mt. Aloysius, while Zoe Swank made 11 saves in goal.
