- Both teams failed to score in the first half, the Red Dragons outshot the Bengals 8-0.
- In the 61st minute, Berman notched a goal in the lower left corner to give the Bengals the lead.
- Kayla Schwizer scored for the Red Dragons in the 75th minute to even the score 1-1.
- Both teams played tough defense and neither could find the back of the net the rest of the way.
- Vene made a clutch save in the final minute to keep the game tied.
